Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets cookies and records your approximate location, device, browser, the pages you view and how you arrived. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. We do not connect analytics data to your name or email.
Email subscriptions. If you subscribe to price alerts, we store the email address you give us and the date you subscribed, in Webflow's form system and in the email service we use to send the monthly report. We do not buy, rent or share subscriber lists.
Contact form. If you write to us, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply and, if you send a correction, credit it.
Affiliate links. Links to eBay on this site carry an eBay Partner Network tracking code. When you click one, eBay sets its own cookies and may pay us a commission on purchases you make there. eBay's handling of that data is governed by eBay's privacy policy, not ours. We receive aggregate click and sale counts, never your identity.
We do not run accounts, we do not show third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
We use the information above to publish the site, send the monthly price report to people who asked for it, answer messages, and see which guides are useful. That is the whole list.
Unsubscribe. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and it works the first time. You can also write to us through the contact page and we will remove you by hand.
Analytics opt-out. You can block Google Analytics with a browser extension such as Google's own opt-out add-on, or by refusing cookies in your browser. The site works without them.
Access and deletion. If you want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, ask through the contact page. We will confirm within 30 days. Residents of California, the EU and the UK have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone.
Retention. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for two years, or until you ask us to delete them.
Children. This site is for adults buying professional equipment and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and note what changed. Questions go through the contact page.
